SEND Teaching Assistant.
Connex are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants (TA) across Solihull and surrounding areas to join our fantastic team!
You will be supporting Primary aged students who have Special Educational Needs and some challenging behaviours. It would be advantageous is you have experience with Team Teach however this is not an essential requirement for the role.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work proactively with students with special education needs and disabilities.
You will be a passionate individual with a reassuring and calming nature. You will be enthusiastic in your approach to encouraging learning and able to build rapport with children, parents and staff alike.
The role is starting ASAP and long term. It will be a full-time post (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) so it is imperative you are able to commit to this schedule for consistency for the pupils you are working with.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications i.e., Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid DBS (Child Work Force) or willingness to apply for one
- Available Fulltime
- Able to commute to Solihull and surrounding areas (10-15 miles radius) in Birmingham, West Midlands
The salary for this role will be £65-70 a day on a 30 hour week; this is depending on your experience.
