About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with several welcoming Primary Schools in the Derby City Centre (DE1) area, who are recruiting for KS2 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. The role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days: delivering lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress. No lesson planning is required.

Assignment Details
These roles are available immediately, with options for 3–5 days per week. We are also recruiting for January starts to cover planned absences and long-term supply needs. Positions will run throughout the autumn term and into the new year.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children in KS2 within a UK primary school
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
