About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with several welcoming Primary Schools in the Willington (DE65) area, who are recruiting for KS2 Teachers to work on a day-to-day supply basis. The role includes full classroom responsibilities during cover days: delivering lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress. No lesson planning is required.

Assignment Details
These roles will start in January and are available on a part-time or full-time basis. Opportunities include both day-to-day supply and long-term assignments, allowing flexibility to suit individual availability and preferences.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with children in KS2 within a UK primary school
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons
• Knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
