About the role
Connex Education is working with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Derby who are looking for Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams. You will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. Your role will involve assisting pupils in their learning, providing emotional support, and helping to create a calm and nurturing classroom environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, patient, and confident supporting children with additional needs.

Assignment details
This role will commence after the October half term, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Person specification

Have UK experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs either in a school or similar setting

Be willing to provide personal care

Be confident in working with challenging behaviour

Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
