About the role
Connex Education are currently working in partnership with a well-established academy trust to support their academies based in Nottingham. The schools themselves are seeking support for both short term and long-term placements covering across a range of departments in the school.
Assignment details
This role is to start as soon as possible, and you will be offered consistent work throughout the whole Autumn term, and from January 2025 onwards. You can be flexible on the days you choose to work; however, we require commitment and reliability to the school. In return we can offer you a guaranteed pay option to work with us so you have the opportunity to be paid if no suitable work is available (t&cs apply).
When working on a day-to-day basis you will not be required to plan lessons or mark work, however you may be asked to teach across multiple subjects.

Person Specification
- Hold qualified teaching status (or have a strong background working with young people)
- Have suitable, UK teaching experience
- Able to diversify teaching techniques to suit all students
- Able to work with students of varied abilities
- Reliable and consistent
- Capable of your ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
- Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
