About the role:
Connex Education are working with a SEND School in Wirral who are seeking several support workers who are interested in working as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

About the School:
This purpose built School has 2 sites across the Wirral, they cater for pupils aged between 11-19 years with complex needs including Autism and PMLD. All staff offer high quality education in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment.
We will provide you with CPD to help transition your skills into Education.
Assignment details:
As a support worker at this School, you will have a good understanding of Special Needs and able to tailor your approach depending on the pupil. You will be adaptabe and able to quickly build relationships with both staff and pupils.
We have full-time long term roles available as well as day to day bookings to cover sicknesses.
The working days are Monday-Friday on usually 8.30am-3.30pm.
There temp to perm contracts available.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with additional needs as a support worker.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
- The ability to build relationships with staff and pupils.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
