Role: Teacher of Geography
Location: Nottingham (roles available in other locations also)
Pay: £625 – £900 per week, with weekly pay
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Vacancy to cover (Part time options available)
Start Date: January 2023
We are currently supporting a well established secondary academy, who are seeking a full time geography specialist to join the team. The school are looking for someone to start in January and this will be for the rest of the academic year, due to a maternity leave within the department.
This particular school are comitted to providing quality education to all of it’s students along with ensuring all members of the faculty are fully supported and have everything they need in order to provide a good educational environment. Pupils and teachers often describe the school as having a ‘calm’ environment which in turn, allows learning to be promoted effectively.
As the successful teacher, you will be:
– Experienced with delivering good quality lessons to all abilities, up to KS4
– Able to communicate effectively with young people and their families
– Dedicated to students and school life
– Happy to plan and mark lessons, with support from the department
– Willing to commit to at least a term, potentially further
– Able to work well within a team as well as independently
– Have a good sense of humour and able to adapt to stressful situations well
– Optimistic and versatile individual
