Full time – Long term placement with potential to lead to permanent role

The Role
Connex Education are working with a secondary school based in Darlington who are part of a multi academy trust, who are seeking a Teacher of History to commence from September 2023.
The role will involve full classroom teaching across KS3/KS4 . The school deliver a knowledge rich curriculum and are looking for a passionate and dedicated History teacher with excellent subject knowledge . The school have a very supportive SLT and there is scope for this role to lead into a permanent position.
About you
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Degree or equivelent in subject area
- Capable of setting ans achieving ambitious goals and targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support students needs
- A team player who has a positive relationship with colleagues
- Self motivated and resilient
- Ability to manage behaviour in the classroom
