Role: Teacher of Science
Location: Northampton
Pay: £625 – £900 per week, with weekly pay
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Contract
Start Date: ASAP or March start
Connex Education are currently working with a great academy, based in Northamptonshire who are seeking a full time Science teacher to start ASAP covering a maternity leave. This role will require you to plan and mark, and take the full teaching responsibility – with support from the department heads. The school itself has a vibrant and fresh atmosphere, with great feedback given for the leadership within school along with pupils complimented on their positive behaviour and optimism towards learning.
As the successful teacher you will be:
– Experienced with delivering good quality lessons to all abilities
– Able to communicate effectively with young people and their families
– Dedicated to providing quality lessons
– Happy to plan and mark lessons, with support from the department
– Interested in a long term post, with the possibility of a permanent role
– Able to work well with department heads and other team members
– Available ASAP or at least in February
– Have a good sense of humour and able to adapt to stressful situations well
