1:1 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £425-£450 per week (dependent on experience)
About the role:
Connex Education are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who has experience of supporting young persons with Moderate and Severe Learning Needs.
About the School:
We are working with a SEND School in Winsford who cater for pupils who cater for secondary aged students. The School offers a child centered approach to learning, celebrating achievements and promoting independence.
Assignment details:
This role is full-time and will commence in February. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am until 3.30pm. This role will require a Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across the School.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with Autism
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate
- Able to use different styles of communication as some pupils are non-verbal
- Be able to contribute to observations
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
