Job: Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester
Pay: £425 – £450 per week dependent on experience
About the Role
Connex Education are working with a primary schools in Manchester.
I am looking for budding or Qualified Teaching Assistants to join my team of staff. The role flexible around you and you can choose the days you work! The role is a supply role and you could cover in various schools each week.
You will be expected to fulfill the role of a full time Teaching Assistant when in our schools and the working hours are 8:30 – 15:30 in a primary school setting.
You would be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher with completing daily tasks
- Support children individually or in groups
- Deliver smaller intervention sessions to groups of children
- Potentially support at lunchtime on duty
Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification, this will be discussed upon interview.

Person Specification
- Experience with children that have additional needs in the classroom
- Hold a valid Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Be confident in building effective working relationships with adults and pupils
- Excellent ICT skills
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have experience working with SEND children or willing to do so
