Role: Year 3 Teaching Assistant

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Teaching Assistant in Year 3. You’ll provide general classroom support and lead small group interventions in English and maths. We’re seeking someone dependable and experienced with Key Stage 2 learners.

Assignment Details
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3:30pm), starting in September and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
- Experience delivering small group support or intervention
- Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
