Role: Early Years Practitioner (Reception)
Location: Formby
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: September Start (5 days per week)
Connex Education is seeking a nurturing, compassionate, and experienced teaching assistant to support a child with special educational needs who will be starting in Reception in September.
About the school:
Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of supplying teaching assistants to this wonderful primary school in Formby. The primary school is in an excellent location for candidates travelling by car or public transport from anywhere in the Sefton area.
About the supply role:
The role will involve providing 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs in Reception. Prior experience working in Early Years and supporting children with special educational needs/complex needs is essential for this role. The role will be for the entire academic school year.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 TA qualification or Early Years qualification is essential for this role (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential.
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
