Role: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £425–£450 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead that is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work flexibly across the school. You will be providing support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You may be required to provide a mixture of general and 1:1 support. To succeed in this role, you will be hard-working, dedicated and passionate about supporting children with their academic and emotional development.

Assignment Details
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas but with the possibility to continue for the academic year for the right candidate.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered.
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.
- A patient, consistent, and supportive approach.
- Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
