Role: Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Formby
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday (January 2026)
Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, calm and compassionate teaching assistant to support a child in Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis. The role will require a teaching assistant with experience supporting children with ASD and ADHD. The role will start in January and will be for the remainder of the academic school year.

About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support for a child with special educational needs. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can contribute to fostering a positive school environment. Relevant classroom experience supporting children with SEN is essential for this role.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
