Role: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Southport
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday-Friday (January 2026)
Connex Education are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Early Years practitioner to provide general classroom support, and 1:1 support in a wonderful primary school in Southport. The role will start in January and will be for the remainder of the academic school year.

About the supply role:
The role will involve providing general support and 1:1 support in a Reception class. A minimum of a Level 2 Childcare/Level 2 TA is essential for this role. The school are seeking an adaptable, proactive Early Years Practitioner, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in EYFS.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC) or Level 2/3 TA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Reception is desirable for the role.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
