About the role
Connex Education are working with a number of mainstream primary schools based around the Middlesbrough Area who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work full time within the schools. We are also seeking a Teaching Assistant specifically for EYFS for a school in the TS3 area. The role is for general TA support within nursery and reception but you must also be happy providing some 1:1 support and small group sessions.
About the school
This primary schools we work with are welcoming and you will be supported by a lovely team of teaching staff, other teaching assistants and you will be responsible for assisting the teachers and supporting the pupils in the classroom.
Assignment Details
This EYFS position is full time working Monday – Friday. You must be able to commit to 8:30-3:30 daily. A level 3 Teaching assistant qualification or equivalet full and relavent qualification is essential for this role. This role is due to finish in July 2026

Person Specification
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary environment
- Be confident working with small groups
- Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of either EYFS/KS1/KS2 Curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
