Teaching Assistant (TA) – Worksop

Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming primary and secondary schools in Worksop to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support their day-to-day and long-term staffing needs. This role offers excellent flexibility, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work to suit your availability.

Assignment Details

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the curriculum. This may include:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Providing targeted support for pupils who require additional help

  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

Start dates are staggered, and once compliance checks are complete, work is available immediately. We offer flexible opportunities to fit around your schedule, whether you are seeking full-time or part-time work.

Person Specification – Teaching Assistant

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting

  • A proactive and supportive approach to learning

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Confidence supporting pupils across different abilities

  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

  • Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic

  • Able to commute to Worksop and surrounding areas
