Connex Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a warm, welcoming primary school in Bootle. You’ll be based in their Nursery class, supporting children in the EYFS — one of the most rewarding phases of education there is.
This is a full-time role running until the end of the academic year, with a very real possibility of a permanent position for the right person.

Pay: £85–£95 per day (paid weekly via PAYE)
Start: After Easter (April 2026)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

What the role involves
You’ll be working closely with the class teacher to support children in Nursery, helping them settle, learn, and thrive. Experience supporting pupils with SEN would be a real advantage, as would a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework.
What we’re looking for
— A Level 2 or 3 TA or EYFS qualification (or relevant hands-on school experience)
— GCSE English & Maths at Grade C/4 or above
— A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
— Patience, warmth, and a genuine passion for Early Years
— Someone reliable, professional, and ready to hit the ground running
