SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £99 per day (PAYE)

A large, well-regarded primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.

The school is a multi-site primary with a strong inclusion team, SEN provision and experienced leadership. Staff benefit from regular CPD and clear behaviour systems.

Easily accessible via Overground and local bus routes.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom
• Delivering small group interventions
• Supporting behaviour and engagement
• Working alongside SENCO and class teachers

Requirements

• Experience supporting children (SEND, care, youth work or similar)
• Patient, adaptable and proactive
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS required.
