The leadership team is supportive, and staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils receive the individual guidance and encouragement they need to succeed both academically and socially.
Vacancy Details:
We are seeking a highly experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to work full-time on an ongoing basis.
The successful candidate will support a Year 5 class as a general Teaching Assistant during the morning before providing dedicated 1:1 SEN support in the afternoons.
The pupil requires support due to Klinefelter Syndrome, which can present with a range of learning, developmental, social, and behavioural challenges. Previous experience supporting children with complex additional needs is essential.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have significant experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
• Be confident supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Demonstrate a calm, resilient, and proactive approach
• Be flexible and comfortable working in both a classroom support and 1:1 capacity
• Have a strong understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs
• Be reliable, professional, and fully committed to the role
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be confident in managing challenging situations when required
• Be available to work full days and arrive at school between 8:00am and 8:15am
• Be able to make a positive impression from day one and maintain high professional standards
