Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Academy Trust primary school in Warrington from September.

This full-time role involves providing tailored support to a Key Stage 1 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive classroom environment.

About the Role

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • September start
  • Supporting a KS1 pupil on a 1:1 basis
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team
  • Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours
  • Supporting both academic and social development throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, either in a school or similar setting
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
