Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2

Full-Time (5 days per week) | Term-Time Only | Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, working flexibly across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role and is passionate about helping children of all ages achieve their potential.
About the Role
Working under the guidance of class teachers, you will:
- Support the learning and development of pupils across KS1 and KS2, adapting your approach to suit different age groups and abilities
- Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities
- Provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, including children with additional needs
- Help promote positive behaviour and a safe, nurturing classroom environment
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo, and support staff
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children (previous TA experience desirable but not essential)
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Is patient, caring, and flexible, with excellent communication skills
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
