Salary: £93 – £100 per day Subject to experience and qualification- must have right to work in the UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Connex Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to cover on a day to day basis, on a part time basis
This is a varied general Teaching Assistant role, working across both KS1/KS2 classes supporting the class teacher to support pupils with their learning and development.
Within the cohort are a small number of children who require additional support, including:
- Supporting a pupil who benefits from guidance with emotional maturity and engagement.
- Supporting a pupil with more complex behavioural needs, including elements of defiance and a tendency to leave the classroom or school environment.
The successful candidate will be patient, resilient and proactive, building positive relationships with pupils while helping to create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1 and 2
- Can remain calm, positive and consistent when supporting children with additional behavioural needs.
- Is confident working collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
- Is nurturing, adaptable and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
- Holds relevant Teaching Assistant experience or transferable experience working with children.
