1:1 Teaching Assistant – Behaviour & SEND

September – December 2026

Connex Education is recruiting an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a primary school setting.

This role would suit someone who is confident managing behaviour and has previous experience supporting children with additional needs.

You’ll Be Supporting

• 1:1 learning
• Classroom engagement
• Positive behaviour
• Emotional regulation
• Independence
• Social development

There will also be opportunities to support the wider class and work alongside the school’s existing support team.

We’re Looking For

• Previous 1:1 experience
• Strong behaviour management
• SEND experience
• Calm and patient approach
• Excellent relationship-building skills
