I am working in partnership with a school in Runcorn, who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school are looking for someone who is able to start immediately and work 5 days on a long term assignment.
The staff at this Halton SEN school encourage children to be the best version of themselves and encourage positive behaviours both inside and outside of school. They work closely with parents, carers and healthcare professionals ensuring children feel safe happy and comfortable and get the best outcomes from their learning experience.
The successful applicant will have previous experience working with SEMH, and possess skills such as being able to de-escalate certain situations. You will be required to work both inside and outside of the classroom, supporting the class teacher with a number of different students. To apply, for this role you must have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
