Connex - Warrington
I am working with a SEND school in Chester who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with Autistic children. This role is Monday – Friday, 8.30 – 3.30pm and is due to start immediately, lasting throughout the next academic year.
This school cater for children of both primary and secondary ages with an Autism diagnosis and / or complex learning needs. Aiming to provide 1:1 support for each student, the staff at this school work together providing the best possible care and education for all students. The school has state of the art facilities on site, such as sensory rooms and a hydrotherapy pool.
In successful in your application, you will be required to provide support to both students and staff, as well as creating relationships with family members. You will be expected to work with staff to provide bespoke learning plans and development pathways, striving for personal growth within students. You will be dedicated to improving student’s lives for the better, helping them achieve goals – whether this be social, physical or academic. There will be occassions where you will bne required to provide intimate care. It is essential that you have experience working with Autism in either a residential or educational setting. Any supporting qualifications you may have will be taken into consideration when reviewing your application.
