Connex Education is currently seeking Level 2 qualified teaching assistants who have experience supporting children with special educational needs. We are seeking proactive and adaptable teaching assistants who will strive to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment for children with additional needs.
Connex Education have a long-standing relationship with primary schools in Southport and the following are the type of bookings that will be available for you:
- Long-term classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for groups with special educational needs.
- Long-term 1:1 SEN support roles.
- Part-time roles supporting small groups or children on a 1:1 basis (mornings or afternoons).
- Day-to-day flexible bookings to cover sickness, courses, additional staff requirements.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
