Connex Education are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in our partner primary schools in Crewe for short and/or long term roles.

This Teaching Assistant job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be based in either a KS1 or KS2 class. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. The working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30 Monday to Friday. Salary is dependent on experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
- Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as
appropriate - Deliver catch-up sessions
- Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people,
specifically those with SEND within the past two years - Must have a passion for education
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
