About the Role
Connex Education is working with a network of welcoming primary schools across Ashbourne and surrounding villages who are seeking reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils in the classroom on a flexible, day-to-day and short-term basis.
The role involves supporting classroom activities, working one-to-one or with small groups, and assisting teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, education graduates, or experienced Teaching Assistants seeking consistent local work.

Assignment Details
Roles are available immediately, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability. Assignments may include day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, depending on availability and school need.
Due to the rural nature of some settings, access to transport may be beneficial.

Person Specification

Recent UK-based experience supporting pupils in a primary school or similar education setting

Confident supporting learning activities on a one-to-one or small-group basis

Patient, flexible, with strong communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
