About the Role
Connex Education is working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Mackworth, Allestree and surrounding areas (DE22) who are seeking reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a flexible, day-to-day and short-term basis.
The role involves supporting pupils to access learning, working one-to-one or with small groups, and assisting teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, education graduates, or experienced Teaching Assistants looking for flexible, local supply work.

They are looking for Teaching Assistants who are reliable, adaptable and confident building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Assignment Details
Roles are available immediately, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability.
Assignments include a mix of day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, depending on your preferences and school needs.

Person Specification
• Recent UK-based experience supporting pupils in a primary school or similar setting
• Confident supporting learning on a one-to-one or small-group basis
• Patient, adaptable and strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
