About the Role
Looking for flexible Teaching Assistant work in local primary schools?
Connex Education is working with a network of welcoming schools across Derby City Centre and surrounding DE1 areas who are securing Teaching Assistants now for roles continuing into the new term.
We are recruiting reliable and adaptable TAs for a mix of day-to-day supply and longer-term placements.
You will support pupils to access learning, work one-to-one or with small groups, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
This role suits experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, or those looking to build consistent school-based experience.

Person Specification

Recent UK-based experience in a primary school or similar setting

Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups

Strong communication and adaptable approach

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
