I am recruiting on behalf of a Special Needs School in Northwich, who need a Teaching Assitant to join their team. This position is working Monday – Friday, from 8.30am until 3.30pm.
The staff at this school include Teachers, SEN trained teaching assistants and healthcare professionals, such as speech and language therapists. All staff work together to create a happy and productive environment in which all students can floruish socially, emotionally and academically. The facilities on site are second to none, and include both an outdoor garden and sensory rooms.
As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work across Key Stage 3 and 4, providing care and support for students with additional learning needs. To apply for this role, you must have experience working with non-verbal students and be familiar with alternative communication methods. On occassions, you will be required to provide intimate care to students and help them with daily tasks such as eating and dressing.
