£95 – £110 depedent on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at our specialist SEND school in Rotherham. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to students with a range of SEND requirements
- Implement Team Teach techniques to support positive behaviour management
- Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver individualised learning programmes
- Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Assist with personal care needs where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to student assessments
- Support students during break times and educational visits
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including teachers, therapists, and support staff
Essential Requirements
- Current Team Teach certification (must be up to date)
- Previous experience working with children/young people with SEND
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting inclusive education
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
