Exciting Opportunity for Cover Supervisors in Derby Secondary Schools!
Connex Education are recruiting for flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools across Derby. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of schools on a day-to-day basis. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £71-£90 per day.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assist students with work set by teachers during staff absence
• Maintain a safe environment and high standards of student behaviour
• Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies
• Set appropriate cover work in line with the school’s standards
Skills and Experience:
• Experience of working with 11-18 year olds, ideally in a classroom setting desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable and able to think on your feet
• Calm and patient manner
• A passion for helping students achieve their potential
This is a flexible role, offering day-to-day cover assignments in schools across Derby. Training and support will be provided, and there are opportunities for longer-term cover for the right candidates.
