Connex Education is a leading recruitment agency that specialises in the education sector and are currently recruiting for The Flying High Multi Academy Trust. One of their Primary schools are looking for a Y6 Primary teacher to cover from January 2024. The school is friendly and supportive, has a positive learning environment and Ofsted rated GOOD in all areas.
The role is full time for 1 term from January 2024 initially, but may become a permant role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality lessons to Primary children, in a calm and effective manner
Planning and preparing engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all children
Supporting children with their academic and personal development
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
Ensuring high standards of behaviour and attendance are maintained
Participating in school events and extra-curricular activities
Skills and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including EAL
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, must be organised and have high standards of daily routine
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
