Connex Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with young learners and wants to make a positive impact during a crucial stage of children’s education. The school is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

The Role
You will:

Teach a Year 1 class and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Create a positive and stimulating learning environment

Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
-
Assess and monitor pupil progress
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
-
Inspire children to develop confidence and a love of learning
We Are Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1
-
Strong classroom management skills
-
A creative and engaging approach to teaching

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Ability to provide two professional references, including your most recent employer

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
