Role: Year 2 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £425–£450 per week (dependent on experience/qualifications)

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead that is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support in Year 2. You will be providing general support in the classroom, as well as working with small groups of children with additional needs to support their academic growth.

Assignment Details
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in September and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
- Experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, consistent, and supportive approach
- Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
