About the Role
Connex Education is working exclusively with a Primary School in the Halewood area who are recruiting for a full-time teaching assistant to join their KS1 team. This role is primarily focusing on Read Write Inc phonics interventions in the school, so experience of RWI is essential in order to apply for this role. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30, commencing ASAP.
About the School
You will be joining a fantastic KS1 team in the school, primarily based in their Y2 classrooms. You will have the support of experienced class teachers and TAs to support these interventions in the school. This is an excellent opportunity to join a caring and committed team.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable, however those with relevant school experience, will be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Read Write Inc training/experience
- The ability to adapt to different learning
- Knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 national curriculum
- Experience working with pupils with SEN desirable
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex
