The role
I am working exclusively with a school in Birkenhead, who are seeking a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide general support to a Year 2 class. This position will initially be until July, with the opportunity of a permanent contract.
You will provide tailored support to ensure that the children make progress in their academic, social and emotional learning. You will benefit from a supportive and experienced staff team.
We also offer fully funded Level 3 and 4 TA qualifications through our partner company Connex Academy – this is a perfect opportunity to upskill yourself while working as a TA.

Requirements
We ask for the following:
- Someone who is enthusiastic and highly motivated, with a child-centred approach
- Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB etc) or long-term experience working with children
- You hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
