About the Role
We are working in collaboration with an excellent two-form entry primary school in Birkenhead, Wirral, which is actively seeking a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will be supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support for their emotional, social, and behavioural development.
You will work closely with a fantastic and friendly team of teachers and support staff.
Assignment Details
This is a full-time position, starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year (July). It is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about, and confident in, supporting children with additional needs.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, NVQ, BTEC, Childcare, NNEB, etc.) is desirable.
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.
- Experience working with children with SEN.
- Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
