Connex Education is proud to be supporting a wonderful Primary school in Warrington  as they seek a dedicated  KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP, The role is to support pupils in a mixed 5/6 class, supporting groups of pupils in Maths and English in readiness for SATS

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday   8.30-3.30pm , You will be assiting the class teacher and working closley with the KS2 team, throughtout the day you will take small groups of pupils to assist with  reading, English and Maths. Previous experience delivering similar intervention sessions is essential, unfortunatley this role does require full-time applicants only and not available for job share. They are looking for someone who can comitt to the role with excellent communication skills, previous experience, and hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing support to the class teacher
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and the KS2 Team to ensure pupils thrive
  • Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Assisting with routines, smooth transitions, and personalised support plans

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within a KS2 or classroom setting
  • A patient, caring and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential, strong skills with delivering Maths and English sessions to KS2 pupils
