Salary: £150 to £235 per day based on role and pay scale.
Connex Education is working in partnership with schools across the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Supply Teachers for temporary opportunities across different schools in Taunton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for confident Key Stage 2 teachers who can provide reliable classroom cover, deliver engaging Year 5 lessons, and adapt quickly to a range of school settings.
The Role
We are recruiting Year 5 Supply Teachers for temporary placements across different schools, involving:
- A temporary Year 5 supply teaching role across different schools in Taunton
- Providing day-to-day or short-term classroom cover depending on school needs
- Delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment
- Following school planning and adapting lessons where required
- Supporting pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing throughout the school day
- Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
What We’re Looking For
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Confidence delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour in different school settings
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and a flexible approach to temporary work
- A reliable, professional approach to supply teaching
