Year 5 Teacher (Job Share) – NG13 Area
Start Date: September 2026 | 2.5–3 Days per Week | Full Academic Year
Connex Education is working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in the NG13 area that is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join their team on a job-share basis with a Year 5 class.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a welcoming and supportive 2-form entry primary school with a strong team ethos and a positive learning environment.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 5 class as part of a job-share arrangement
- Working 2.5 or 3 days per week
- Starting in September 2026 and continuing for the full academic year
- Collaborating closely with the existing class teacher to ensure consistency and continuity for pupils
- Contributing to and supporting the planning, preparation, and assessment alongside your job-share partner
- Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that enables all pupils to thrive
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Strong classroom management skills
- A collaborative and flexible approach to working as part of a job-share team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
