Role: Year 5 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £425–£475 per week (dependent on experience/qualifications)

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Teaching Assistant in Year 5. You’ll support classroom learning and lead small group interventions in English and maths. We’re looking for someone proactive, reliable, and experienced in Key Stage 2 support.

Assignment Details
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3:30pm), starting in September and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification
• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered
• GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English
• Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
• Experience delivering small group support or intervention
• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
