About the Role
Connex Education is partnering with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Year 5 Teaching Assistant. The role involves general classroom support and working with small groups of children with additional needs to boost their learning. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and experienced in supporting Key Stage 2 pupils.

Assignment Details
This part-time role runs Monday to Thursday afternoons (12:30–3:30pm) and all day Friday (8:30am–3:30pm). The position starts ASAP and is likely to continue long term for the right person.

Person Specification
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered.
- GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
- Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
