Connex Education is proud to be partnering with a large mainstream primary school in Greenwich, London, in their search for a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school community and make a real impact on the lives of young learners.
The Role:
As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the education and development of the school’s students. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring each student receives a high-quality education. This role is full-time and initially offered on a contract basis until the end of the school year (July 2024), with the potential for a permanent position if the opportunity arises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as required.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 6 students is desirable but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
