Connex Education is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive teaching assistant to support a group of Year 6 children on a long-term basis from September 2026.

About the roles:
The school are seeking a teaching assistant who has experience supporting children with special educational needs in primary schools, particularly in Key Stage 2. Group support and interventions will be part of the role in Year 6.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who is looking to make a real difference in a children’s lives. You will work closely with the class teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support and tailored learning strategies that will support pupils across the school.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is essential for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in primary schools is essential.
- The ability to adapt to different learning.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
