Primary School Teacher – Year 5

£750-£1,115 per week (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming school in Pinxton. This role involves teaching a Year 5 class from after the February half term until the end of the academic year in July 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s education during a crucial period of their primary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons following the Year 5 curriculum
• Plan and prepare high-quality teaching resources
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Maintain a positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members
• Participate in parents’ evenings and school events

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5 (NQTs and ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate approach to primary education
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
