About the role
Connex Education are working with a number of mainstream primary schools based around the North Yorkshire area who are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work part time or full time within the schools. We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are specialised in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and those who are also confident with SEND or working on a 1:1 basis to apply as we have a variation of roles and cover assignments.
About the school
This primary schools we work with are welcoming and you will be supported by a lovely team of teaching staff, other teaching assistants and you will be responsible for assisting the teachers and supporting the pupils in the classroom.
Assignment Details
These roles are offering an immediate start with work available from 3rd March. You would be be required to be available full time, or a minimum of 3 full days from Monday – Friday. A level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification is essential for this role or 2+ years experience working in schools.

Person Specification
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary, secondary or SEND school environment
- Be confident working 1:1 or small groups
- Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of either EYFS/KS1/KS2 Curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
